Overview
In this Youth Coach role, you will deliver informal education and coaching to young people across diverse settings, helping them build confidence, resilience and life skills. You will work primarily evenings and occasional weekends within the Early Help and Prevention Service, contributing to wellbeing and positive aspirations. You will form trusted relationships, support goal achievement and collaborate with schools, health and community partners. This is a community-focused opportunity to shape youth outcomes in the borough and support transformational early help work.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging youth coaching sessions across youth centres, mobile hubs, community venues and outreach locations
- Support young people to develop confidence, resilience, life skills and positive aspirations
- Build trusted relationships and help young people achieve their goals
- Contribute to programmes that promote personal, social and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure access to support for all youths
Key requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Youth and Community Work (or willingness to achieve within 12 months)
- GCSEs or equivalent in literacy and numeracy
