Overview
In this role you lead the Support and Wellbeing Service for older residents in sheltered housing, reporting to the Head of Service. You will mentor Hub Coordinators and Support and Wellbeing Officers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing. You will drive service performance, monitor KPIs, manage complaints, oversee support planning and risk management, and ensure adherence to quality standards. The position offers scope to shape service delivery, spearhead continuous improvement, and contribute to strategic housing planning. You will work with health, social care partners, and community organisations to achieve better outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities
- Lead Hub Coordinators and Support and Wellbeing Officers to deliver person-centred support

Key requirements
- Substantial experience managing teams within housing, support, health, or social care
- Proven ability to lead staff to meet challenging performance targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence stakeholders and produce high-quality reports
- Experience managing complex workloads and developing/reviewing policies and procedures
- Interpretation of legislation and guidance; implementing service improvements and leading organisational change
- Strong understanding of the health and social care agenda for older people; translate legislation into practical action
- Strategic thinker who remains hands-on and operational when required
