About the role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Area Manager Leisure Centres to help lead the delivery of high-quality leisure services across Haringey.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will oversee the operational performance of multiple leisure facilities, managing Leisure Centre Managers and ensuring centres are safe, welcoming, inclusive and commercially successful.

This is a varied leadership role focused on improving customer experience, increasing participation in physical activity, supporting community wellbeing and reducing health inequalities across the borough.

About the team You will join a passionate Leisure Services team dedicated to helping residents lead healthier and more active lives.

Working closely with Centre Managers, Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Finance, Communications and a wide range of community stakeholders, you will contribute to the ongoing development and success of Haringey's leisure provision.

From driving operational excellence and staff development to supporting major improvement projects and partnerships, you will play a key role in delivering services that make a real impact on local communities.

About you You will bring significant experience in the operational management of leisure facilities and have a proven ability to lead teams across multiple sites.

A strong communicator with excellent organisational, customer service and problem-solving skills, you will be confident managing performance, budgets, recruitment and stakeholder relationships.

Commercially aware and committed to service excellence, you will be passionate about creating inclusive environments, increasing participation and ensuring every visitor receives an outstanding experience.
