Overview
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Officer to join our nursery team.
In this rewarding role you will support children aged 1 to 5 years by delivering high-quality care, play and early education within a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan engaging learning experiences.
- Observe and assess children's development.
- Build strong relationships with families.
- Help every child achieve the best possible start in life.
- Work alongside the Nursery Manager, colleagues, parents, carers and external professionals to contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Support children with a range of needs, including SEND requirements, ensuring each child receives the necessary care and encouragement.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children aged 1β5 years in an early year setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), child development, safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- Organised, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Committed to delivering exceptional early years education and passionate about supporting every child to reach their full potential.
