About the role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Communications & Engagement Manager with a passion for behaviour change. You will lead high-profile mobilisation programmes, supporting residents, businesses and stakeholders through service changes by delivering strategic communications and engagement that build awareness, understanding and participation. About the team
Based within the Corporate Communications service, you will work closely with colleagues across Communications, Recycling, Waste and Waste Enforcement, as well as senior leaders, elected members and external partners. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality communications that put residents at the heart of everything we do. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will help shape campaigns that support Haringey’s environmental ambitions and strengthen engagement with our diverse communities.
About you
You will be a skilled communications professional with experience leading complex campaigns and delivering meaningful engagement programmes. You will have excellent writing and presentation skills, the ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible messages, and a strong understanding of digital communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement. Most importantly, you will be passionate about working with communities, using insight to shape communications, and ensuring all residents have opportunities to influence and engage with changes that affect them.
