About The Role
We are looking for someone to join Haringey Council as our Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) or take the exciting next step in your career as an experienced and qualified Electrician moving into a management and supervisory position. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in directing and planning a range of electrical works, including repairs and planned projects, effectively utilising both our in-house team and external subcontractors.
A key responsibility will be your expertise in reviewing and signing off NICEIC certification and reports in your capacity as the QS, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. You will also be responsible for developing and reviewing detailed electrical specifications for void property works and in Responsive Repairs, strategically planning resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects and providing essential technical guidance to the team as needed.
You will also be required to work with our Training Manager and colleagues to develop our operatives to meet the highest standards through performance monitoring and professional development.

You will be an integral part of a dedicated electrical team responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of services, spanning responsive repairs, planned compliance works, and the efficient completion of electrical installations in void properties. Our team of electrical operatives brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to serving Haringey Council.
About You
Candidates should have experience in providing services to social housing properties and understand the complexities of a varied building stock. We are looking for someone who is customer focused, invested in the Borough of Haringey and wants to bring innovation, energy and commitment to the role. You should have extensive knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
Candidates MUST hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification (or equivalent) and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
