Job Description Position: Childcare Assistant Salary: £27,728.75 – 28,125.42 (Scale 3, Spinal point 5-6) based on experience Hours of work: 35 hours – Monday to Friday 52 weeks a year (Between 08:00am and 6:00pm – shift rotation) Contract Term: Permanent Closing Date: Wednesday 18th June 2025 Interviews: Wednesday 25th June 2025 Start date : September 2025 We are an outstanding children’s centre, looking for a Childcare Assistant who has experience of and commitment to high quality early years care and education. We are looking to recruit a child friendly and enthusiastic Childcare Assistant who will work under the direction of the Early Year Educator to deliver high quality childcare for children ages ranging from nine months to four years. You must be motivated to use your own initiative and have good team player qualities. NVQ 2 would be desirable or a strong commitment to continuing professional development.
