We are opening a brand-new, fully equipped LCV/HGV repair and maintenance facility in Hixon and are looking for x2 experienced Technicians who can repair both LVC & HGV to join our team and to start mid-January.
Hours: Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on LCVs and HGVs
- Perform diagnostic checks and fault-finding
- Preparing for MOT’s
- Conduct inspections to required safety standards
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- Ensure all work meets compliance and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on both LCV and HGV vehicles
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent or proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Class 1 license preferable
- Ability to work independently
