Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce components according to specifications and drawings.
- Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal machining performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret CAD designs and implement necessary modifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Skills & Experience:
- 2 years+ previous experience Programming, Setting and Operating.
- Ideally experienced with Lathe Machines.
- Background producing CNC machined components to a high standard.
Benefits:
- 39-hour flexible working week.
- Monday to Thursday core hours 8:30 to 15:15 (factory open 6:30 to 17:30 for flexible working).
- Early finish Friday 12:30pm.
- Sickness scheme after qualifying period.
- 23 days (rising to 28) holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Pension 4% after qualifying period.
