We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity offering full-time hours and the chance to be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality service to customers.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. The role also involves operating an FLT, maintaining stock accuracy, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive supplier deliveries, checking for accuracy, quality, and condition
  • Safely unload and load vehicles using an FLT
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders to a high standard
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate stock records using a computerised system
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate with relevant teams
  • Liaise with customer service, suppliers, and couriers to meet delivery deadlines
  • Check all orders prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
  • Carry out periodic stock counts as required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and report any issues
  • Work in line with ISO standards and company SOPs

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above), including Maths and English
  • Valid FLT licence
  • Previous warehouse or pick and pack experience desirable
  • Basic IT skills, including MS Office
