About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and demanding distribution environment in B70. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking to secure a long-term position within a growing operation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, from goods receipt through to dispatch, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking supplier deliveries for accuracy, quality, and condition
- Safely unloading and loading vehicles using an FLT
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders to a high standard
- Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and stock levels are accurately maintained
- Completing and managing all warehouse documentation efficiently
- Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Checking orders prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Supporting stock control processes, including periodic stock counts
- Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Following ISO9001:2015 standards, SOPs, and internal processes
