This is a key role where you’ll manage customer accounts, convert enquiries into orders, and play an active part in developing new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned customer accounts to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Handle incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Build strong product and industry knowledge to support customers
  • Raise and process sales orders, purchase orders, quotations, and invoices
  • Provide accurate quotations using current pricing information
  • Follow up on leads to secure new business and protect profit margins
  • Work closely with procurement to support buying activity
  • Liaise with internal teams to meet customer expectations
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and filing systems
  • Suggest improvements to processes and workflows

About You

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above)
  • Passionate about sales with strong customer service skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other IT systems
  • Previous experience in a similar sales or internal account role is desirable
  • Experience in a distribution environment would be an advantage
