About the Role: Our client, a well-established company in Tamworth, is looking for an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join their professional, friendly team. This office-based role offers a competitive salary plus a strong monthly bonus scheme. You will provide expert advice on a range of mortgage products including residential and regulated bridging finance, managing leads through to application submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored mortgage advice on products, rates, and terms
- Handle inbound leads and convert them into applications
- Assess clients’ financial situations and recommend suitable products
- Manage cases from enquiry to application submission
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and internal teams
- Keep updated with market changes and compliance requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service ensuring positive outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ mortgage advising experience (essential)
- Experience with residential mortgages and regulated bridging finance (essential)
- Buy-to-let or commercial mortgage knowledge is advantageous
- CeMAP qualified (essential); DipMAP or CeRER is a bonus
- Strong communication and objection handling skills
- Confident with mortgage sourcing systems and fintech platforms
- Positive, proactive, and well-organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload
