Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Build Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires excellent organisational capabilities and a thorough understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities * Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. * Liaise with new build gas engineers and plumbers, ensuring smooth site operations * Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth project execution. * Ordering materials through simple purchasing system * Develop project plans using Microsoft Project, outlining key milestones and deliverables. * Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Utilise strong communication skills to provide updates to stakeholders and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process. * Manage procurement processes, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. * Maintain accurate documentation of project activities using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership and support to project teams.
