An established and growing business is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive new business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a target-driven B2B sales professional with strong new business development experience, who also enjoys developing and growing existing client relationships. The role offers a mix of office-based sales activity and field-based client meetings, supported by modern CRM systems and nationwide fulfilment capabilities. With ambitious growth plans in place, this position offers genuine long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, client visits, and digital outreach (e.g. LinkedIn)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximise retention and repeat business
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
- Close sales and successfully onboard new clients
- Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Analyse sales data to identify growth and upselling opportunities
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets to maximise commission
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in B2B business development and cold calling
- Demonstrable ability to generate and convert new business
- Background in workwear, clothing, or product-based sales is advantageous
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
