We are currently looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team working on a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the fast-growing renewable energy sector on a high-profile battery storage farm installation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Installation of industrial cabling systems
  • Glanding and terminating power and control cables
  • Connecting battery units and associated equipment
  • Installation of containment systems including tray, trunking, and conduit
  • Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
  • Testing and inspection of electrical installations
  • Working safely in line with site and industry regulations
  • Supporting commissioning activities where required

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / 18th Edition or equivalent)
  • ECS / JIB Gold Card preferred
  • Previous industrial or renewable energy experience advantageous
  • Experience with battery storage, substations, solar farms, or heavy industrial projects preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures

  • Rate £20 - £26 per hour dependant on remuneration method
  • 12 hour days
  • Minimum 1 month contract
  • Immediate starts available
  • Accommodation allowance/travel allowance is available depending on location

Location: LS25 5JD

Hours: 12 hour days Monday to Friday
