Position: Labourer / Skilled Labourer (Construction) Location: Midlands – primarily Wolverhampton and surrounding areas Pay: £100 – £130 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (1-hour lunch break) Holidays: 28 days per year (including bank holidays) We are looking for a reliable and professional Labourer / Skilled Labourer to join our busy construction team in the Midlands. This role involves working in occupied domestic properties, primarily in the insurance repair sector, carrying out kitchen and bathroom removals alongside other labouring tasks. As you’ll be working in clients’ homes, excellent customer service, respect, and professionalism are essential. This is a long-term, directly employed position offering consistent work and opportunities for progression within a supportive team. Important: Applicants must have personal public liability insurance or willing to get cover at won cost and be CIS registered with a valid UTR. A DBS check is also required, either already held or obtained before starting again at your own cost. Key Responsibilities * Carry out manual labour tasks including removal of kitchens, bathrooms, and fixtures. * Work safely, efficiently, and tidily in occupied domestic environments. * Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. * Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order. * Communicate politely and professionally with customers and colleagues. * Travel to various domestic sites across the Midlands region. Requirements * Valid Green CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain). * Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, and Manual Handling training (certificates required). * DBS check – must be valid or willing to obtain. * CIS registered with a valid UTR. * Own transport (car or van) – van allowance provided. * Previous experience in construction, refurbishment, or domestic labouring. * Good communication skills, reliability, and a professional attitude. * Public liability insurance, personally held and up to date.
