Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Location: Stoke
We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our manufacturing team, working primarily on CNC Lathes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid background in manufacturing who takes pride in producing quality work and can work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing components to the required quality and specification
- Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks
- Identifying and resolving practical production issues
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator, ideally with CNC turning/lathe experience
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Solid background in manufacturing
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, hardworking and able to use initiative
- Comfortable working as part of a team
