CNC VMC Setter
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: 14.50 - 19.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected precision engineering company in Wolverhampton that is looking to expand its machining team with an experienced VMC Setter. The Role
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for preparing and setting Vertical Machining Centres to ensure production runs efficiently and components are manufactured to exact customer specifications. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs).
- Installing tooling and setting machine offsets.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Producing precision-machined components to required tolerances.
- Inspecting finished parts using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
- Identifying machining issues and making adjustments where necessary.
- Maintaining excellent quality standards while following all health and safety procedures.
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and operating efficiently.
