We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, for a General Production Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

The Opportunity

Working within a busy production facility, you will play an important role in supporting daily manufacturing operations, ensuring materials are prepared accurately and production runs efficiently. Please note: this role involves working in a dusty and dirty manufacturing environment, handling raw materials and production substances as part of the day-to-day operation. Suitable PPE will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating batching and weighing machinery with precision and attention to detail
  • Measuring and preparing raw materials in line with production specifications
  • Handling materials such as pigments, resins, and additives safely and accurately
  • Recording production data, batch numbers, and quantities correctly
  • Monitoring machinery performance and reporting any faults or issues promptly
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the production area
  • Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations at all times
  • Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily production targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred
  • Comfortable working in a dusty, hands-on industrial environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative when required
  • FLT licence is advantageous but not essential

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • 1 hour unpaid lunch break daily
