Working Hours
- Start times: Between 7:00am and 8:00am
- Shift length: Approximately 7 to 10 hours per day
- Finish times may vary depending on the delivery route
- Minimal handball required
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries safely and efficiently to customers
- Complete daily vehicle checks before starting your route
- Ensure goods are transported securely and delivered on time
- Obtain delivery confirmations and complete relevant paperwork
- Provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers
- Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
- Follow all company procedures and road safety requirements
Driver Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous
- A good knowledge of local and surrounding areas
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- A professional approach when representing the company
