Food Production Operative
Hours
Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 2pm
Please note that the finish time may vary depending on workload.

Duties
- Packing food products in line with company standards and specifications
- Carrying out quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Working in accordance with strict food safety and hygiene regulations
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Manual handling and heavy lifting as part of daily duties
Requirements
- Previous experience within a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
- Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting duties
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and measuring
Working Environment
- This role is based within a chilled/cold store environment
- Full PPE and protective clothing will be provided
- Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions throughout their shift
