Job Description: Polisher / Linisher Shifts Available: Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm (37 hours per week) Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (46 hours per week) Pay Rate: Days: £13.50 per hour Nights: £15.50 per hour Contract: 12-week temp to perm About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established UK manufacturer specialising in sheet metal fabrication and stainless steel product design. They supply high-quality products to a diverse range of industries and are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced Polishers / Linishers to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, producing high-quality stainless steel components and finished products. Key Responsibilities Polishing and linishing stainless steel components to a high standard Removing weld marks, scratches, and surface imperfections Using hand-held and bench-mounted polishing and linishing equipment Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working to production schedules and customer deadlines Requirements Previous experience in polishing, linishing, fettling, or metal finishing Experience working with stainless steel products preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely Experience within a fabrication, engineering, or sheet metal environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer?
