About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for General Operatives / Trainee Polishers to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop a long-term career within a modern production environment. No previous polishing experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Working within a busy manufacturing setting, you will be trained in polishing and finishing metal products while supporting general production and assembly duties. This role would suit candidates with experience in warehouse, production, assembly, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or other hands-on environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the polishing and finishing of metal components
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting production and manufacturing processes
- Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Preparing materials and components for production
- Carrying out general operative duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Working to production targets and customer deadlines
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, engineering, or labouring environment is beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
