We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV 2 Driver in Manchester (M28).
Pay: £14.10 per hour + overtime at time and a half
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Day Shifts
2 years HGV 2 experience required
The Role
- Delivering doors to customers using an HGV Class 2 curtain-side vehicle.
- Carrying out local and long-distance deliveries.
- Assisting with loading and unloading, including some handball.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.
Pay & Hours
- £14.10 per hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half (£21.15 per hour)
- 45 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
- Day shifts, with start times between 5:00 am and 8:00 am.
- Full-time role
Requirements
- Must be aged 25 or over.
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Comfortable with some manual handling and handball.
- Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks.
