Location: HARIBO Castleford (hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home)

Working hours: 38 (Monday – Friday)

Salary: Competitive; plus an annual bonus!

We are on the hunt for an amazingly talented ‘Graphic Designer’ to come and join our happy world of HARIBO on a 12-month fixed term contract! This could be YOUR opportunity to take a fizz-tastic seat within our Design team aka ‘The Den’ whilst also building star-mix relationships with our Head of Design as well as a whole host of amazing stakeholders.

So how will I add to the HARIBO mix?

  • Brand guardianship - Ensuring brand consistency with brand guidelines whilst also pushing creative boundaries.
  • Design quality and print readiness - Being curious and asking the right questions to land an ownable creative. Designing for print: experience and understanding of the print processes. Collaborating with the Artwork team to ensure smooth execution of all print designs.
  • Project and time management - Managing multiple creative projects simultaneously and effectively balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Collaborating and communicating clearly with internal and external teams across local and regional markets.
  • Creative trend awareness - Keeping up to date with design trends, competitor activity and new technologies.

Can you supply our essential ingredients?

We are on the hunt for an individual with exceptional design experience within our fantastic world of FMCG. Do you have experience of working within a multi-disciplined team as well as a stand-out portfolio demonstrating expertise in ideation and concept work right through to packaging, campaign design and POS across digital and print? To hit the ground running in this position, experience of designing for print and digital knowledge is key. We are also looking for someone who has experience in understanding and expressing brand values through design.

Strategy is also super important, are you a natural strategic thinker with proven experience in delivering products to market? You must also be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; however, we would love to hear about your other system superpowers too!

Now onto the soft-squidgy stuff… It is super important that you’re both passionate about our brand as well as passionate to learn and develop within our fantastic business. We are operating within a fast-paced environment therefore it is important you can comfortably meet deadlines whilst also maintaining attention to detail. Communication is also paramount, we are looking for someone who connects with others, is confident nailing the pitch and presenting creative ideas to stakeholders.
