Location: HARIBO Castleford (hybrid working - 3 - 4 days per week in the office). Occasional travel may also be required.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and support our Wholesale channel!

Within this role, you will report directly to our Head of Commercial Finance and join our team of four. To enable sugary success, you will act as a financial business partner to our Sales and Marketing teams by providing valuable insights, analysis, and guidance on business decisions. You will also help drive profitable growth in our key wholesale customers.

How you'll contribute to the mix:

  • Acting as a strategic financial advisor to the Wholesale Sales team by providing valuable insights and guidance on business decisions.
  • Using knowledge and judgement to provide input to the wholesale sales forecast in close collaboration with wider business teams.
  • Facilitating meaningful forecasts and executable actions to manage the business.
  • Owning the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities whilst ensuring compliance and control of corporate spend.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely management of the commercial month-end process including reconciliation of trade spend accruals and cost centre accounting.
  • As finance lead for key business growth strategies, enabling understanding and scenario planning through best-in-class analysis.
  • Leveraging our new system benefits and Business Intelligence reporting while contributing to our continued investment in trade planning tools.

We are looking for a qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) with previous commercial accounts experience. Previous wholesale experience is not essential, however, if you have it, we would love to hear from you!

To thrive within this role, it is imperative you have SAP S4HANA and BI experience. Condition Contract Management expertise is a plus! We are also looking for someone with advanced Excel skills who can handle large volumes of data while maintaining control and accuracy.

Furthermore, due to the nature of the role and the strong relationships required between various stakeholders across HARIBO, we are looking for an excellent communicator who is confident speaking at all levels across the organisation.
