We are on the hunt for an ‘Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager’ to come and join our Finance team. To enable HARIBO sugary success, within this role you will report into one of our Financial Controllers and lead a team of five within our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function.
How you’ll contribute to the mix:
- Accounts payable: Working with the UK business and group to ensure invoices are paid within vendor payment terms, managing supplier queries and relationships, critically reviewing the accounts payable environment, taking full ownership of the accounts payable process, managing the monthly close of accounts payable information and supporting the management accounts team with reporting and analysis, assisting with the preparation of the year-end audit file and liaison with auditors.
- Accounts receivable: Devising and leading the credit control and pre-legal procedures, driving the credit control function forwards and coaching and supporting internal colleagues in credit control techniques, supporting with weekly cash flow forecasting and authorising new credit account applications, managing problem aged accounts and taking responsibility for the AR ledger cash collection, managing customer queries and relationships, working with the credit control team to control debtor days and increase cash collections, assisting with the preparation of the year-end audit file and liaison with auditors.

To drive sweet success, the successful candidate must possess SAP expertise (this is a real non-negotiable), have automated AP workflow process implementation experience as well as advanced Excel and data manipulation abilities. To thrive within this role, we’re looking for expertise in managing a high volume of invoices and payments.
