Location: HARIBO Castleford/ Pontefract (hybrid working- 3 days in the office/ 2 days working from home plus occasional travel)

Working hours: 38 (Monday – Friday; including some flexibility to meet the demands of the role)

How you’ll contribute to the mix:

  • Be a key point of contact for all HR queries across Commercial, Operations, and Retail teams
  • Work closely with our Senior People Partners to support, coach, and guide Line Managers on all aspects of employee relations, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases
  • Own and develop strong relationships within our Retail function and help drive strategic people initiatives with the support of senior partners
  • Take the lead on exciting HR projects around wellbeing, inclusion, and policy development
  • Provide hands-on support in recruitment processes including coordinating interviews and improving recruitment data insights
  • Help ensure we stay compliant by supporting on data protection, drug and alcohol testing, and regular policy reviews
  • Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practices, proactively sharing insights with the wider team
  • Drive your own development and have a real hunger for continuously learning

Can you supply our essential ingredients?

We are looking for a CIPD qualified individual (level 5 minimum) with a proven record of both managing and resolving ER cases. Experience of working within a unionised environment is beneficial but not essential. Previous experience working within a FMCG or Retail business is also desirable.

We seek someone who can demonstrate an excellent track record of being people focused, working at pace, and the ability to think pragmatically and offer commercial advice. Good working knowledge of MS Office and relevant HR systems is required.
