We are on the hunt for an experienced Financial Accountant to come and join our Finance team. Within this role you will report directly into our Senior Manager- Accounting and Tax and work as part of a team of four. To enable HARIBO sugary success, within this role you will provide support to our Senior Manager as well as the wider Finance Accounting team in the production of accurate and timely reporting.
How you’ll contribute to the mix:
- Preparing monthly Management Accounts (UK and Ireland)
- Year-end audit and Statutory Accounts preparation
- Assisting with Tax work and Projects (and liaising with external tax partners)
- Preparing Group Accounts
- Treasury- Cashflow reporting and forecasting
- Supporting with process improvement projects
- Fixed assets
- Producing internal and external month end reports
- Carrying out pre month end P&L account reviews
- Group planning- forecasts and budgets
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
We are on the hunt for either a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified Accountant who has at least five years of financial and management accounts experience. Experience of working within both a large and complex organisation is preferred. Previous FMCG or Food Manufacturing experience isn’t essential. The possession of Financial Accounting knowledge- UK GAAP is also a must for sugary success within this role, along with a good working knowledge of sales, purchasing and general ledger principles. Experience with Excel is essential, and familiarity with SAP could be beneficial.
Communication skills are essential for this role; we are looking for an individual who isn’t fazed by communicating to all levels within both our Finance space as well as other areas within the business. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, is not afraid to step outside their comfort zone, and is committed to meeting deadlines. We seek an individual who is naturally proactive and inquisitive at heart.
