We’re opening a new retail store in Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow. As our 12th retail store in the UK, and our first in Scotland, this is an exciting time for the business as we continue to invest in our retail offering across the UK. This store will feature exciting concepts that will add something truly unique to the Silverburn shopping experience.
We are looking for a leader with experience developing a new team to deliver fantastic service standards as well as lead and develop the high volume sales operation. You will be an experienced, dynamic, commercially focused Assistant Store Manager with proven results in leading teams and growing sales.
This will be a busy role with a brand new team in our new store in the fabulous Silverburn shopping centre, Glasgow. We are not looking for someone to follow our guide – we are looking for a manager who can analyse our current performance and bring improvements to sales and operational efficiency through their own ideas and retail experience to help deliver a HARIBO experience for our customers and colleagues instore.
Our Assistant Store Manager for Silverburn will be self-motivated and hands on with previous exposure to working in a fast-paced retail environment and must be prepared to lead the team with a one-team approach to retail. Team Leadership skills and a focus on people, customers and sales are all key, along with a drive to make the store environment and the team the best they possibly can be!
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager to deliver HARIBO sales targets and KPIs by executing HARIBO customer service, retail and operational standards. It’s an exciting time for HARIBO Retail as we continue to invest in developing our retail teams and business across Scotland.
- The ability to make changes and deliver initiatives that will shape the success of the retail business
- Leadership responsibilities within your retail store, for your team and their development
- Accountability to ensure processes are seamless and customer service is the best it can be!
- Being able to develop meaningful relationships within the store team
- Experience of stock management procedures along with good communication skills
- People Management experience essential

This role is 40 hours a week, working in a flexible nature to suit the needs of the retail business. UK travel may be required with this role, as the retail team work as a very close knit team, where support to other stores is often required. Valid driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel to other stores.
