The Plant & Labour Administrator is a newly created position supporting Blackwell Earthmoving’s Sizewell C project team.

This role provides essential day-to-day administrative support, helping managers and the wider team with office coordination, personnel management, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Office Support
  • Manage correspondence including emails, memos, and routine reports.
  • Maintain organised filing systems on Share Point and other platforms.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and general office logistics.
  • Create and format documents as required.
  • Greet visitors and offer general administrative support to the team.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle queries from senior managers and complete data entry tasks.
  • Ensure accurate storage of key documentation and support colleagues when needed.
  • Personnel & Compliance Coordination
  • Manage site personnel vetting processes.
  • Review candidates, arrange interviews, record competencies, and assess compliance with BEL standards.
  • Issue contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
  • Liaise with agencies to ensure labour provision meets site requirements.
  • Arrange PPE and medicals for new applicants.
  • Coordinate induction programmes for new starters.
  • Maintain records in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in preparing regularly scheduled reports.
  • Liaise with site teams and management to address queries or issues.
  • Provide support to other team members as required.
  • Undertake other tasks as requested by the line manager.

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point.
