CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, varied hours based on business needs, may include both days and nights. All work is compliant with Road Transport Regulations and Tachograph regulations.
SALARY & ALLOWANCES:
- Base salary: Approx. £44,300 per annum
- Night out allowance paid in addition to salary: £26.20 (tax free) per night out
- £10 per week bonus for accurate and timely completion of paperwork

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 HGV General Haulage Driver to join our dedicated transport team based in Killingholme. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well‑established operation, where your contribution will be valued and your career supported. As a General Haulage Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of various materials across the UK. You’ll operate independently on the road, supported by modern technology and a strong back‑office team. You’ll be assigned your own dedicated truck and provided with a fully branded company uniform.
Responsibilities:
- Nationwide general haulage work across the UK.
- Regular nights away from base (Monday to Friday).
- Ensure all deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and in compliance with transport regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork.
Qualifications:
- A clean LGV C+E Class 1 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph (Digi) card.
- ADR qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Experience with general haulage.
- Strong understanding of the UK road network.
- Excellent time‑keeping and flexibility.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
