As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in delivering a major earthworks project. You will operate excavators safely and efficiently, ensuring precision and high‑quality performance throughout the project. Working collaboratively as part of an onsite Earthworks team, you’ll follow instructions from Foremen and Supervisors while maintaining strict compliance with RAMS, site rules, UK construction legislation, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and move various materials efficiently and safely.
- Operate excavators in line with RAMS and safety standards.
- Conduct daily pre‑start checks, report defects immediately, and keep machinery in safe working condition.
- Maintain tidy and safe work areas, ensuring good housekeeping.
- Attend and actively engage in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

- Experience: Proven track record working on large‑scale infrastructure and earthmoving projects.
- Competency Cards: CPCS card is preferred, but other recognised industry cards will be considered.
