About the role
As Product Outcomes Manager you will play a key role in supporting the effective oversight and implementation of Hargreaves Lansdown\’s (HL\’s) Product Outcomes Framework and associated policies. Reporting to the Senior Product Outcomes Manager and working closely with the Head of Client Assurance and Optimisation, this role ensures product governance activities are delivered on time and to a high standard. You will also support the development and use of product outcomes MI to help shape HL\’s proposition and deliver good outcomes for all clients.
What you\’ll be doing
- Overseeing the implementation and ongoing development of the Product Outcomes Framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and HL\’s standards for product governance.
- Providing specialist input throughout the product lifecycle to drive positive client outcomes, from design and development through to management and withdrawal.
- Managing oversight of third-party financial instruments to ensure alignment with HL\’s investment and proposition criteria, and the needs and objectives of the intended target markets.
- Collaborating with the Product teams and other stakeholders to ensure product governance and client outcomes are actively considered across all stages of product development.
- Ensuring appropriate MI is provided to third-party product manufacturers regarding the distribution of their products and services.
- Using MI and data to identify areas for improving client outcomes and mitigating foreseeable harm.
- Supporting the creation and delivery of action plans to address areas for improvement, ensuring timely execution.
- Providing training and support to embed the Product Outcomes Framework across the business.
- Producing thematic analysis and reporting for key stakeholders and Committees.
- Providing day-to-day support and guidance to Product Outcomes Analysts, helping to develop their skills and ensure consistent delivery, without direct line management responsibility.

Working schedule
This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern with two days in the office per week.
Salary
Up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus competitive benefits.
