About the role

We’re seeking a talented Experience Designer to deliver impactful, end-to-end design solutions across a range of squads and products. You’ll support both complex design challenges and tactical briefs—shaping product and service experiences that drive measurable value for users and the business.

As a cross-functional, full-stack designer, you’ll create innovative, user-centred experiences by blending UX, UI, content, research, and service design. Your work will help elevate the overall quality of design while validating ideas through evidence-based design thinking and testing.

You’ll champion collaboration, uphold design best practices, and support governance standards—contributing to a strong, consistent design approach across teams. As part of a growing design team, you’ll also play a pivotal role in building a positive, high-performing culture where continuous improvement and shared success are at the heart of how we work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering UX and UI design assets with clarity, usability, and regulatory compliance in mind
  • Translating product requirements and user insight into wireframes, flows, and interface designs
  • Collaborating with researchers to test and validate designs
  • Writing UX copy and contribute to content patterns
  • Participating in QA and implementation reviews with developers
  • Presenting and iterating on work in cross-functional reviews and design critiques
  • Developing working knowledge of accessibility, platform guidelines, and performance metrics
  • Maintaining design standards and execute best practices
  • Actively contributing to team ceremonies and shaping the team culture

About you

  • Experience in digital or product design with a solid portfolio of impactful work
  • End-to-end design experience including UX, interaction, microcopy, and visual design
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility
  • Experience presenting to stakeholder or senior leadership
  • Good communication and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to work within and contribute to design systems
  • Proficient in design tools (Figma, Adobe CC, prototyping tools)
  • Degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design or related field
  • Comfortable working in agile squads and handling constructive feedback

Working schedule

This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week. This role is a maternity cover fixed term contract ending August 2026.
