As Head of Savings and Investments, you'll shape the future of our savings and investment propositions across our key product lines. You'll lead the strategic direction and commercial growth across Active Savings and our Cash ISA, all the way through to our investment proposition across the rest of the ISA family and the General Investment Account offering. The key aim of this role is ensuring propositions continue to attract, retain and meet the evolving needs of our clients. This is a high-impact role where you'll bring together client insight, commercial performance, regulatory oversight and business leadership to deliver strong outcomes and drive continuous improvement across these flagship products.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the Savings and Investment product offering, driving the vision and strategic development and ensuring oversight and control of all regulatory aspects of the service.
- Evolving and delivering the commercial and proposition plan.
- Owning the end-to-end savings proposition across product, operations and our commercial bank partnerships.
- Working alongside the commercial leadership team, to ensure our products attract and retain clients, ensuring we maximise cross sell and retention and ultimately driving AuA growth across the platform.
- Owning client and business outcomes, including adherence to regulation, standards and policies of the product, including Consumer Duty, Conduct and Vulnerable Clients.
- Working with the policy team to influence the future of ISA products.
- Working with the product team to ensure digital roadmaps are aligned to commercial outcomes.
- Managing relationships with key partners and third parties.
- Managing the risk and control environment, including management of risk, conduct and Conflicts of Interest.
About you:
- Significant experience in Savings, ISAs and investing.
- Experienced commercial leader and P&L owner.
- Natural curiosity, entrepreneurial drive and a desire to be the best.
- Comfortable thriving with ambiguity and change.
- Proven experience of leading, inspiring and motivating a high performing team.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex initiatives in universally understood language to match Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) tone of voice.
- Proven ability to influence large teams without direct leadership authority.
- Highly analytical thinker, as well as a creative problem solver.
- Regulatory and Governance experience.
- Recognised as an industry expert, mentor, and teacher across the business.
This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. Our office is based in central Bristol (BS1 5HL) and hybrid working is available, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
