We’d love to hear from you!About the role# We’re seeking a Junior Experience Designer to support the delivery of thoughtful, end-to-end design solutions across multiple squads and products. You\'ll work on a mix of tactical briefs and complex design challenges—helping to shape product and service experiences that create real value for users and support business goals. As a full-stack designer, you\'ll gain hands-on experience across UX, UI, content, research, and service design—contributing to innovative, user-centred solutions and helping to raise the overall quality of design across the organisation. You’ll follow best practices, support design governance, and actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture. Energised by a shared mission to unlock our collective potential and set a new standard for what design and research can achieve bringing our future vision to life.**What you’ll be doing*** Supporting the creation of wireframes, UI mockups, and content edits* Contributing to user testing prep, note-taking, and analysis* Applying design systems under guidance and document design decisions* Helping ensure accessibility, consistency, and compliance standards are met* Participating in critiques, agile ceremonies, and cross-functional workshops* Maintaining design standards and best practices, and continuously develop design knowledge* Actively contributing to team ceremonies and shaping the team culture**About you*** Internships, bootcamps, junior roles, or portfolio projects experience - with a solid portfolio of relevant design work* Basic understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and content writing* Strong visual attention to detail, communication, and eagerness to learn* Collaborative, open to feedback, and growth-oriented* Understanding of end-to-end design and design systems* Familiar with core design tools (Figma, Adobe, whiteboarding tools)* Degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design or related field* Comfortable working in agile squads and handling constructive feedback**Interview process** The interview process for this role will include two stages with a task.**Working Schedule**This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.Here at HL, we’re the UK’s number 1 investment platform for private investors, based in Bristol.
