About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Creative Communications Manager experienced within the Financial Advice industry to join the Marketing team, at the UK's number one investment firm for private clients on a 12 month FTC. You'll join an experienced and diverse team reporting into the Senior Creative Communications Manager, whilst working closely with the advisory fund product specialist. The role will appeal to those experienced in investments, as well as D2C and B2B (intermediated) distribution areas. Writing is a key part of the job. But it isn't just a copywriting role. You'll have a deep understanding of investments and the Financial Advice industry, our services and your audience. You'll be the expert in your field, driving ideas and responsible for creating engaging and relevant comms and campaigns. You'll lead collaboration with the design team and channel experts to bring your content and comms to life.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with team to develop and execute creative communication plans & strategies that align with the goals of HLFM and HLAS and the needs of our clients.
- Create compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, including digital, print, and multimedia, to effectively communicate the status & performance of the HLFM fund range and HLAS investment solution, including PMS.
- Leverage your experience in intermediary communications, ideally both at a B2B and B2C basis, to tailor messages and materials to specific audiences.
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all communications, ensuring that our messaging resonates with our target audience.
- Support the CIO and fund managers in producing & delivering monthly webinars and presentations, both for internal and external consumption.
- Partner with specialists to bring creative ideas to life across multiple channels and multimedia.
- Stay on top of the latest news, developments and trends that affect your products and target market.
- Have a detailed understanding of target market/audience, aligned with a grasp of the marketplace as a whole and our competitors' offerings.
- Have a deep understanding of our client segments and the skills to write for different audiences.
- Seek insight from clients, analytics, helpdesk, advisers, research, competitors (UK and overseas) to develop best practice and ideas.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication efforts, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
About you
- Experience in intermediary communications, ideally both at a B2B and B2C basis.
- Outstanding copywriting skills are essential, from writing emails and letters, to articles and video scripts.
- Detailed understanding of Investments and Advisory/ Wealth Management industry.
- Knowledge of online and offline marketing techniques and strategies, particularly direct marketing.
- Understanding of client segments and the skills to write for different audiences.
- A creative thinker with superb copywriting and communication skills.
- Highly organised and reliable - Able to work autonomously to set deadlines.
- Collaborative mind-set with ability to bring people with you.
- Client satisfaction orientated.

Working Schedule
The role is in our Marketing team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is a 12 month FTC and could be full time or part time. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
