CAD TECHNICIAN
SIZEWELL, LEISTON
CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT
SALARY: COMPETITIVE
CLOSING DATE: 14TH OCTOBER 2026
The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:
· Preparation of detailed design drawings (Civil & MEICA)
· Preparation of site construction scaled drawings
· Preparation of fabricated drawings
· Update all red lined drawings to “as built” status
· Manage design drawing folders and ensure all up to date drawings are within contract folders
· Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals
· Assist in the collation of H&S file information
· Assist in the development of construction phase health and safety plans
· Assist in the development of design risk assessments
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/attributes:
· HND or Degree qualification
· Knowledge of industry specifications
· Proficient in Auto-CAD (2D)
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Fully converse with Microsoft Office Package
· Team Player
· Confident & Friendly
· Practical, logical, adaptable with the ability to remain calm under pressure
· Work well on their own with minimum supervision
· Flexible
· Positive attitude to safety
· Tolerant of diverse working conditions and situations
· Good Timekeeping
