CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT SALARY: £***** PER HOUR CLOSING DATE: 13th February **** A vacancy has arisen for a Labourer, to join our team within our contract at Daldowie Fuel Plant.
Drax Power own operate Daldowie fuel plant in Uddingston Glasgow which processes sewage sludge into a \”waste derived fuel\” Hargreaves Industrial Services have a contract with Drax power to carry out support services to the main operational maintenance activities at Daldowie Fuel Pant.
These activities include plant maintenance, tanker services, general cleaning, labouring housekeeping duties.
The role briefly encompasses the following duties: – Cleaning of filters other associated plant items Operating jet wash machines.
Carrying out general labouring duties.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:- Safety passport or equivalent Trained in Manual Handling, Risk Assessment and COSHH Positive attitude to safety Flexible approach to work A strong team player Work well on their own with minimum supervision Full understanding of the working environment including health hygiene rules.
