An opportunity to join Severn Trent Frameworks as a Working Supervisor. The role involves supervising small teams of staff on engineering projects within the STW Framework and the engineering team of Hargreaves Industrial Services, ensuring the work is delivered to a high quality, safely within the constraints of the programme and cost plan.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day operational duties of the team.
- Ensure safe deployment of the team, maintaining all elements of health, safety, and quality.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate with Clients and the HIS Framework and Project Manager regarding progress or any issues.
- Promote a proactive safety culture, driving towards zero harm.
- Assist in delivering projects on time.
- Identify efficiencies and innovation where possible.
- Provide necessary information for key project tools such as inspection and test plans, project programmes and risk registers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience supervising staff.
- Mechanical or electrical formal qualifications through the apprenticeship route.
- FLT licence preferable.
- CDM awareness training.
- Welding/rigging & slinging/confined space training preferable.
- Ability to set the team to work safely, including all safety paperwork, RAMS, POWRA, etc.
- Ability to oversee project work to completion.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Positive attitude towards safety.
