Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Location: Stockport, Manchester Salary: Up to £36,806 per annum Type of Job: Full time and permanent Senior Residential Support Worker Requirements Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent Min of 2 years experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges. With supervisory experience Full UK Manual Driving Licence Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight Senior Residential Support Responsibilities Ensuring that the Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs. Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, always safeguarding their welfare. Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift Attending to Young Peoples practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
