- 2 years experience in an Ofsted-regulated childrens residential home (essential)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Level 5 desirable or willingness to complete

- Confident shift leader able to manage staffing issues and young peoples behaviours
- Ability to supervise staff and support their development
- Experience completing management tasks set by the Registered Manager
- Ability to carry out staff inductions
- Willingness to act as a designated lead for the Registered Manager
