The role:

As an SEN Teacher, reporting to the Head of Education, you will plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning that meets each pupil's individual needs.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons
  • Support pupils through one-to-one and small group teaching
  • Use specialist strategies and resources to inspire learning
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, HLTAs and external professionals
  • Assess progress, maintain records and contribute to EHCPs
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and agencies
  • Promote independence, confidence and achievement in and beyond the classroom
