We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven
Area Sales Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing existing accounts across the Midlands and surrounding region.
Working externally, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while regularly visiting customers, generating new leads, and representing our business professionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales in your area.
- Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations where required.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and close sales.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM records.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
About You
We're looking for someone who is
- Preferably living within or close to the Midlands or South East.
- An experienced sales professional with a proven track record of achieving targets, ideally within the timber, construction, builders' merchant or related industries.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road or from home.
- An excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded.
- Willing to travel regularly throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence.
