Hardwick Primary School & Nursery are looking for an experienced EYFS professional to join our team as Nursery Lead to lead our new Nursery provision for 2-4 year olds.

Your opportunity: Hardwick Primary School has an exceptional opportunity for a Nursery Lead to work in collaboration with the Headteacher and other professionals to develop and establish our new Nursery setting and lead our growing team. We are looking for a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life. They will be innovative and creative in their teaching and be a strong team player.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working in Nursery provision or EYFS with relevant EYFS Level 5/6 Qualification
  • Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Be able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
  • A commitment to raise the achievement of all students of all abilities

  • Start Date: ASAP to assist in setting up our new Nursery ahead of opening in September
  • Pay Scale: GLF Specialist Point 13 £30,000pa
  • Working Pattern: Full Time, all year round
  • Contract Type: Permanent
