- Acting as a key holder, ensuring the security of the premises and coordinating with the Headteacher and Finance Manager.

- Assisting in meeting health and safety requirements, including regular checks for fire safety, Legionella, COSHH, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and secure for pupils, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth running of the school\’s premises.
- Undertake other extraneous duties as required.
- Manage a small team of cleaning staff and undertake maintenance, repairs of the building and grounds.
- Undertake minor repairs and maintenance on an \’as and when necessary basis\’ to enable the school to be maintained in a state of good repair.
- Ensure that the school site is secure each evening, including closing windows, locking doors and gates, and setting of the alarm.
- Carry out routine testing and monitoring of alarms, water temperatures / Legionella, play equipment and school minibus.
- Carry out emergency repairs where possible or contact the appropriate contractor.
