JOB MISSION

  • Achieve event registration targets for our annual show.
  • Achieve exhibitor inbound lead targets for our annual show.
  • Develop and implement content-driven marketing tactics across both owned and earned channels.
  • Increase the profile of the event through key partnerships and high-quality marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role focuses predominantly on CONTENT, COMMUNITY and PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT with the specific goal of driving high-quality event registrations and supporting the growth of our flagship event. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Execute multi-channel communications strategies: Ensure all marketing communications align with the event's positioning and core messaging, delivering a consistent experience across all platforms. Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling content for all outbound activities.
  • Email marketing: Work with the Marketing Manager to iterate our email marketing strategy, then independently execute email campaigns to drive visitor engagement and improve open and click-through rates.
  • Audience engagement and social media: Lead social media campaigns that build community, drive engagement, and strengthen brand loyalty to enhance the audience experience.
  • Media partnerships and PR: Plan and execute PR initiatives and media partnerships with both publishers and influencers.
  • Boost audience advocacy and exhibitor marketing: Plan and implement tactics that boost audience advocacy and exposure on exhibitors’ channels.

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • IMPORTANT: You will report to our award-winning marketing manager, a performance marketing specialist. We’re seeking a candidate with complementary strengths in content-driven marketing and partnerships.
  • Higher education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or other relevant professional qualification.
  • 2+ years of event and media marketing experience: Prior experience in event or media is essential.
  • Structured organisation: Highly organised, able to manage multiple concurrent marketing streams, and maintain systematic processes across campaigns and partner workflows.
  • Content-driven audience acquisition experience: Proven abilities in delivering content-driven audience acquisition tactics such as email marketing, SMM, exhibitor marketing, media partnerships, SEO, influencer marketing, etc.
  • Partnership management & relationship-building: Strong skills in maintaining and strengthening stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely execution of partnership agreements and communication workflows.
  • Good knowledge of marketing psychology principles: A solid understanding of consumer behaviour and psychological principles is essential to craft campaigns that influence decision-making, drive engagement, and deliver conversion.
  • Copywriting skills: Ability to write clear, persuasive, and conversion-focused copy across channels, including email, social media, partner comms, and landing pages.
  • Passion for automation and gen AI: Fluency in using marketing automation platforms, AI tools, and other relevant digital marketing software. Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills: You speak and write clearly and articulately and can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Efficiency and effectiveness: You have a proven ability to plan, organise, schedule, and budget in an efficient, productive way, especially with tight targets and deadlines. You can work well under pressure with changing and evolving circumstances, also during the on-site phase of the event.
