JOB MISSION

  • Assist the team in selling exhibition space for the next event edition to new customers.
  • Generate new business opportunities for the Sales team.
  • Maintaining a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation.
  • Research and gather market intelligence to identify new potential customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Sales team in turning new opportunities for the 2026 exhibition into confirmed exhibitors.
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting activities, such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to identify potential customers and generate sales leads.
  • Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities to ensure a steady flow of qualified prospects and progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to determine their fit and potential as prospective clients.
  • Schedule appointments for the Sales team with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and prospect information in the CRM system.
  • Attending competitive events and industry trade shows for business development.

  • Expertise in identifying potential leads through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and cold calling.
  • Excellent expertise in using sales automation tools (e.g. Clay, Apollo, Outreach, SalesLoft), building and optimising outbound sales processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Hubspot, Pipedrive and Linkedin Sales Navigator.
  • Strong proven track record of exceeding targets as well as managing and developing prospects to drive sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and emails to engage with potential leads.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to take responsibility.
  • Excellent ability to plan, organise and schedule efficiently and productively, focusing on key priorities. With the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
